Great pub. A bit spit and sawdust but still a grand boozer. The Ossett brewery beers are very well kept. I suppose they should be given they are brewed next door. Dominic is a great host and his staff are too. There are many regulars that keep the pub busy all week long. There is an old boy (Malcolm) who goes in every day. Great pub full of character and with excellent beer that is well kept. The staff were friendly, the pork pies surprisingly well priced and they were dog friendly, with water bowls dotted around and dog treats at the bar. I recommend

Great staff, great food, great beer, great pub. The only problem is location but its still worth visiting. The walk up Healey Road can be tough after food and drinks, so if you visit in winter or have a more than a few of the delicious ales, plan a taxi ride home
