Called in on a whim to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Great food, friendly, attentive service and a lovely, if slightly quirky atmosphere. Do they make kebabs on the fencing swords? Who can say!
My friends and I visited here as we needed a hangover breakfast after attending a wedding the night before. We called and booked a table ahead of going. We ended up sat upstairs as downstairs was completely full. I had the full English and my friends had the veggie breakfast and eggs benedict. Table booked for 4 by local friends who wanted to try the restaurant, and we were not disappointed. We had Deep fried Brie and Calamari for starters, King Scallops, Persian Lamb, Beef Kebab for mains and all very good. This was washed down with glasses of Gin, Wine, Morreti, and not expensive at £100 for 4! A very good experience - then a few more beers at Fannys round the corner!
