Such an amazing place (stayed once, rooms were great too).Just lunch and a pint today. Fantastic spring rolls with Asian salad followed by loaded fries.Great atmosphere. Nice and warm. Lovely and clean.Highly recommend.9/10.Food & drinks: Fantastic tasty menu with flair.

What a quaint, relaxed and beautiful inn this place is! The staff, drink and food were top notch, and our room was fantastic as well. Very clean, welcoming and the mattress was very comfortable.The Alma Inn is incredibly dog friendly, and, for an extra small price, some of the rooms allow for dogs to stay overnight with you too. We didn’t bring our dog this time round but on our next visit we surely will! We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back.Rooms: Clean, tidy, welcoming.Food & drinks: Great selection of drinks and food

New Years Eve meal with my lovely wife and Jack Russell Stanley. I had the roast beef dinner, excellent food, Diana Smoked chicken and chorizo gnocchi something different on a pub menu made a welcome change The guy who looked after us was amazing he had other areas to serve but was very efficient and very friendly, he worked really hard.It was very unusual for me a dessert lemon tart with a raspberry sorbet, Diana had a Cointreau coffee which just rounded off an excellent night well worth a visit but recommend booking .Food & drinks: Great food well cooked quickly served

Forget the negative comments we visited this pub family of 5 2 adults 3 kids starters outstanding steak was cooked spot on plenty on the plates desserts excellent nice and friendly staff who were very welcoming will be returning very soon A************

Pretty rude and not worth your time. The long haired waitress was incredibly rude and had a face like a slapped arse. Before we ordered she nearly cut my partners face with the menu and didn’t smile once and was very blunt ( no conversation skills and didn’t seem like she was bothered about anything ) There were animals wondering around the pub…barking and spluttering on the food, very strange and unsanitary in my opinion . The food was just ok, nothing special.Such a shame as this establishment used to be pretty great. My advice, speak to your front of house staff about how customer service is supposed to be.
