“I was in Todmorden looking for food one Saturday evening and spotted this place! Unfortunately they were at capacity but the manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, directed us to another restaurant down the street that she recommended and welcomed us to come back another time! The food I saw on people’s plates looked great so will definitely be back to try it for myself”

“Enjoyed our visit but very busy. Booked in advance but had to wait 20 mins for table. Order taken and forgotten! One of the staff members was quite surly and seemed in a bad mood. Weren't greeted as customers but as an inconvenience. Maybe just having a bad day.”

“I went here tonight as a solo female. A lot of places turn their noses on a busy night as you are taking away an extra seat. Quite the opposite here, I couldn't have felt more welcome. The food was lovely and I had spare to take home with me. Thanks for the food and service guys ?”

Again, this brilliant real ale pub did not disappoint a great clean interior seating ample, and the bohemian clientelle was pleasurable to be amongst. The publicans were very good, and the plethora amount of real ales and cider were the icing on the cake.
This grand real ale pub is a must for all dedicated real ale drinkers to drink in when in Todmorden”
“Small, interesting menu and the best starter I’ve had in my life, possibly - black pudding with crayfish and beans. The decor is mad and brilliant. Definitely book for a Saturday night, it filled up soon after 7pm and the bar (which I assume is walk-in) is quite small.”
