I’d have given a 3.5 today just for poor service. I’m all for giving kids a chance… but train them how to give good service to paying customers. Not once were we asked if everything was ok with our meal. We had been trying to get a 2nd drink for a while whilst the kids were stood around chatting… pudding was sent to wrong table then the lady just laughed… just generally could’ve been better. Came here for Sunday lunch, very good service, good choice of meals on fixed price menu at reasonable price and quality of the food was excellent. Couldn't really complain about anything. Would definitely go

Friends took us the week before Christmas for Dinner, 3 courses for £30! We got a warm welcome and had a drink before being shown to our table. The room was spotless, well decorated with a nice ambience. We chose a delicious French Onion soup starter, then three turkey dinners with all the trimmings and one lamb shank.
