Lovely, welcoming village local. Arrived early and was given a warm welcome by landlady when she opened up bang on time. Cracking, homely little pub, friendly locals and nice ale... Highly recommended.... will call again when in the area on my travels...? ?
A throwback and an endangered species. Family run rural/village pub with 2 small lounge rooms, real fire, cosy upholstered bench seating, and a couple of handpulled real ales. Good view of the church tower by the bar room window. Be aware the pub doesn't offer meals and there are afternoon /evening opening hours. If you're in the area or anywhere near it, in fact, it's a must visit.

Lovely cosy little pub, great atmosphere. Only one negative, but it is quite a big one - Only a couple of beers to choose from (which is fine in a small pub), but the selection on offer is pretty poor.
