Spent a night here in October 2018. Of all the places I miss from my British vacation, The Hatchet Inn is definitely it! Lovely hospitality, gear dinners and full breakfasts, charming location, and lots of fun. We closed the place down, and then the owners, their friends, and I stayed up till the wee hours telling stories, drinking, and singing songs. Lovely characterful country pub. Have eaten there a few times and the food has always been good. The staff are helpful and friendly. Good service. Would recommend.Have stayed here once a few years back. The room was basic but fine. It's an old building so need to expect uneven floors etc.
