Nobody interested when we arrivedFor a Saturday place was half empty which was surprising as used to be very popularFood was a long time coming from a basic menu. Chicken pie was child size and beetroot tart overcooked.Only vegetable was kale.Such a shame as beautiful venue but shan’t return until much improved

I stumbled across the White Hart by chance, it came up as a good mid way meeting place for a family get together. The venue and food looked good online but it far exceeded my expectations. The food was great, service very attentive and the overall atmosphere was fab. The bits that actually stood out to me were the little touches, for example in the baby changing rooms theres spare nappies and clothes incase you get caught short. I’ve dine out ALOT but have only seen this one other place, it just makes you feel very welcome. I’ll definitely be returning again. I have no doubt this place will be equally as wonderful in the summer with the outside tables near the running water, as it was currently with the warm cosy log burner. Thanks for a great overall experience and keep up the family friendly vibes.

Couldn't fault anything. We stayed on Saturday night and enjoyed evening meal and breakfast. Service was faultless, food was excellent, the decor was very stylish, and the bed was comfortable. We'll certainly visit again.

Very nice pub, location was very good and I loved the idea of the river right next to the pub. On arrival it was very busy, it took us a little while to get seated, we grabbed a drink and waited at the bar. After being seated, it then took a little while before a waiter came to take our order. After ordering, it took a very long time for the food to arrive, I was a little annoyed that the couple who sat next to us who came in after us had their food served before us.I ordered the plant burger, because the other options I would have had had ran out. I thought the plant burger would have been a vegetable patty, instead it was a soy burger, had I known it was soy, I would have had something else.Besides the soy patty, everything else was really good, the chips were crispy and well seasoned.

Very strange layout, not much of a bar area. Could do with more bar snacks being available not just very overpriced crisps and nuts.
