“Had a great experience in the Royal Oak last night. Despite it being very busy and full, the staff made my family feel very welcome. Food was great and selection of soft and nonalcoholic drinks was brilliant. Shout out to Ciera who helped my daughter have fun and I quote "Ciera is my favourite server". Thank you Ciera.”

“We've just returned from a short break at The Bell in Ramsbury, and we were not disappointed!! We were impressed from the moment we walked in. We were met by Zak, who poured us our drinks and told us about the pub and the area. He then showed us to our room which was across the carpark in what was a coach house. The room was very large and beautifully decorated. Our evening meal was delicious and the service we received from the lovely ladies in the restaurant was fab. We both slept well in the super king size bed and enjoyed our delicious breakfasts in the morning. Overall a fabulous stay in this beautiful pub, made even better by the friendly, cheerful and attentive staff, and delicious food! Would certainly recommend a stay here. Thank you!!”

“We had a fabulous Mother’s Day lunch here yesterday. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked, the service was prompt and friendly, and the setting picture perfect. Great selection of food on the menu, and a good wine list, so everyone was happy ! Highly recommended, a wonderful village pub x”

“I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for the hosts who I believe have not long been in post. The room was great. The bed was comfortable and I happened to stay on fantastic evening filled with great music in the courtyard which I thoroughly enjoyed. The people were lovely and the breakfast was also really nice. The owners really went the extra mile for me and I am extremely grateful to them. Really great people. Thank you very much for a fantastic stay. Also, kudos to the young man who checked me in upon arrival. He had exceptional manners and was very nice which is always appreciated after a long drive; this really does set the tone of an establishment and he smashed it. ??”

“A lovely pub. We stopped for some food and the chef did not disappoint. There were a few GF options too, although I had to ask. Portions were huge and the food tasted amazing. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. Very reasonable prices too.

Dietary restrictions: There are GF options but you need to ask at the bar.”

“Met up with a friend for a dog walk and stopped here for lunch. Really lovely old pub atmosphere, we were really impressed with the Sunday dinner roast here. The beef roast was cooked to perfection and plenty, the roasties were crispy and cooked right. The Yorkshire puddings were perfect and mouth watering good. Obviously a popular place on Sunday as there were lots of people in for lunch. Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.”
