“The perfect breakfast spot with great views of the high street and delicious food and coffee. The iced shaken coffee was sensational for people with a sweet tooth and the french toast (with heart shaped strawberries ?) was simply lovely ??”

“This is simply my favourite pub. The beer is perfect: Wadworth 6X is a phenomenal pint and when as well kept as this, it becomes the reason to drink English ale. My wife now regularly drinks ale because of Vard's perfect 6X.
The food is beautiful. I've eaten here a handful of times and it has always been excellent.
The welcome is warm, the ambience very pleasant, locals all seem happy and easy going, dogs welcome. What's not to love?
I live nowhere near the Who'd A Thought It (I was in Surrey and am now in Somerset) but have taken trips just to have lunch here and it's worth it. I feel another road trip coming on.....”

“Lovely cafe! Went in with the family for lunch and all of us enjoyed our sandwiches, we had big plans to have a slice of the cake afterwards but the lunch was so delicious and filling we will have to do a trip back for the cake another time ?
Book or arrive on the early side as it gets very busy.”

“Incredible looking cakes and bakes, lots of it homemade. Some really vegan options, including an exceptional lemon cake. Lovely service and staff even though we did a to-go order, they provided cutlery and packed the cake really nicely.
We can't wait to go back!”
“I visited 4 months ago and again today 15th July- great pub with very good, traditional with a twist Gastropub food! Compliments to the chef”

“I didn't eat here but what I saw of the food was impressive. People who have eaten here say it fantastic and it's the place to go on a Sunday for a traditional Sunday roast. The service was great and it's a genuinely beautiful olde world pub in an idyllic English village.it's well priced, has a lovely outside eating/drinking area and plenty of parking.”

“We booked the Roebuck for a family meal, Sunday lunchtime. We were a table of 7 and between us, we had roast beef, chicken and pork and a vegetarian nut wellington. Massive homemade Yorkshire pudding!!!
The food was piping hot when it arrived, plentiful in size and delicious.
We decided we had a small space for a dessert and weren’t disappointed!
Despite the pub being fully booked, our service was really good, very attentive staff and no complaints at all.
Would highly recommend the pub for food and will be back. Thank you for looking after us.”

“I visited The Royal Oak whilst exploring Marlborough. It’s a great pub for a drink, with plenty of options to choose from. The weekend we visited they were running a £3 Aperol Spritz offer through their app which was great!
The outdoor spaces were fantastic - with lots of outdoor seating for those summer time drinks.”

“A pub that also doubles as a Turkish restsurant. A great find we stumbled across when out walking our dogs. Inside there was a great atmosphere but we sat out in the enclosed garden. Food was awesome and the Fancy B is now definitely on our radar. We will be back.”
