We booked lunch online which we had today at 2.30pm.The atmosphere was perfect as although very busy, there was no harsh loudness and the setting was relaxed and very comfortable.It was hard to choose what to eat as we fancied virtually everything on the menu?We decided on smoked salmon and crayfish cocktail for my wife and I had smoked duck Caesar salad - perfectly cooked and beautifully presented! Superb, fairly-priced food and extensive wine list. More importantly, the service was super-efficient, friendly and above all, knowledgeable. A real gem in Marlborough, why would you go to all those chain-run places on the high street when you have Dan’s?

Just before Christmas my cousin and I met here with our husbands as it was equidistant from where we both live and was easy to get to from the M4. We had the Christmas lunch which was great. There was a good choice and we had 3 courses each. I had the smoked salmon with crayfish followed by the sea bass and my husband had soup and roast beef. It was all delicious.
