Franklyn's is a welcoming and cosy local bistro serving well-priced French wine and food. Very friendly and efficient service. Our £20 bottle of red wine was notably good and we particularly enjoyed the pork belly, which was tender and well cooked. Despite it being a wet and wintry Tuesday night almost all the tables were full - and I can see why.
Great atmosphere and service. For a Thursday evening, they were very busy and having to turn away people who hadn't booked. Limited menu (personally I prefer not to have too many options and you then know that everything is fresh!); all our dishes were well cooked and tasty. Definitely not fine dining but that is reflected in the prices (including very reasonably priced wines). We will definitely return!
