This was a great place for us to meet family, halfway. We had supper on a Friday evening and it was fabulous. Honestly, the best pub pie I have ever eaten. All the food we had was excellent - the chorizo scotch eggs, the pizza, the fish, all of it. Lovely surroundings, friendly staff, prompt service, good beer, clean and tidy loos! Thanks for a fab evening. Definitely recommend.

Popped in unexpectedly for lunch, it was a Saturday lunchtime in February so didn’t think it’d be too busy… we were wrong! Such a popular place to eat and I can see why. The service was excellent and the food even better! I had the vegan sausage and ratatouille pie and my partner had the liver. Such a tasty meal and presented beautifully, will definitely return when in the area.
