Purton Stoke, SwindonFood was delicious and staff were great. However, my parents wanted a small plate as they don’t have big appetites but we’re not allowed as small plates were for under 12s only and there was no flexibility on that. We will therefore not go back with my parents as there is a waste of food.

There's a decent selection for drinks (even those who aren't drinking coffee), lovely options for food and a warm, relaxing atmosphere.
There's not much seating, so keep fingers crossed there's space for you if you do visit, but it's worth the wait if there isn't!

Purton Red House
The Red House, Church St, Purton, SwindonWhat a fabulous place! Great community feel and all the staff are incredibly friendly and treat you like you’re their own family. The Easter Bingo night was such an atmosphere! So many people turned up and every single person was accommodated even if there wasn’t much space left! Tables were brought in from different rooms and it just worked amazingly.
Since moving into Purton less than a year ago, for me this is the place to go for a relaxed and also fun evening out. I’ve never felt so welcome into a pub as much as here so thank you for your kindness!

The Angel, Purton
High St., Purton, SwindonWent for a friend’s birthday party and had a great time. The place definitely has the feel of a proper local pub, with a warm atmosphere and very friendly staff. They accommodated our group really well and were genuinely helpful throughout the evening.
We didn’t try the food this time, but our friends spoke very highly of it, so that’s definitely on the list for next time ??

Happy Cod
Unit 2, 22 Aiken Rd, SwindonOMG YUM! I used for the first time today after the chippy in Redhouse closed and took over here instead.
I had Hake and chips which was fresh and delicious. Perfect amount of salt and vinegar also.
I also tried the battered sausage which was nice and crispy. Onion rings were also very good.
Definitely the best chippy in Swindon!
