Stopped here for Sunday lunch based on good reviews, they were 100% accurate. What a great atmosphere. Pub was very busy when we arrived without booking, Becci, said if we could wait a little while she would find us a table. The wait was a little longer than we had hoped, but only because customers were taking their time. Becci kept us informed and kept apologising. When the food arrived it was definitely worth the wait. We will be back
What a great pub restaurant.A fine selection of drinks on draft, far more than you'd find in most places. A small but very tasty menu with home cooking front and centre. We had ham egg and chips, which doesn't sound exciting but I'm still talking about how good it was!And it has a great atmosphere.It's cosy, friendly and run by good people.If you're looking for a lovely pub, with good food run by people who care, you'd be hard pushed to find somewhere this good in the area.

Found this hidden gem when travelling through and looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch. Absolutely brilliant, atmosphere was welcoming, staff were super friendly and the food was incredible.
