Seeing some recent reviews I was a little concerned about the Sherekan, the curry house that has served me well for almost 20 years. I understand that there has been a change in management in recent years which understandably can affect things and had been a while since my last visit. We live locally and use this restaurant quite often as well as takeaway as the food is really good and flavoursome. My wife can often get stomach upset with Indian food but never here - hence one of the reasons we use it. Recommend their special king prawn dishes especially the King Prawn Sally. Despite being regulars we've never really been able to get more than a few "grunts" from the "maitre d'" and certainly he doesn't indulge in conversations other than to take your order...read full review
The food is absolutely supreme. They might not speak english so services isn't the best but if you explain yourself simply you will get amazing food. You won't get 5 star service but you'll get 5 star food.
