They were not serving food when I went, but the atmosphere was really good. We had a good welcome by the landlord. I asked him which ale he recommended and he told me. It is a real ale pub which I really like. Brilliant and well done to the gaffer.
Went for a quick pint with a friend after work...lived just down the road for 8 years and never been in!Was lovely inside and friendly barstaff and cheaper beer than town! will defo visit more often.

I liked it here. Its a good old-fashioned English pub. Although you may have a game on the TV, you can still have a normal chat and laugh over a pint or more. It's a friendly atmosphere and not that far if you won't to go into town, to shout over a pint.
