I stayed at the Bolingbroke Arms after a recommendation from a local. I usually stay at multinationals for convenience, but as the place i was collecting from was not near a chain, booked in here, and wow what a difference, I arrived early but the staff were super helpful and allowed me to check in early, managed to fit me in for lunch even though the place was full of diners (and easy to see why Fantastic Food and great portions). My room was on ground floor and spotlessly clean a comfortable bed, plentiful supply of tea coffee and biscuits. My evening meal Pork Belly was absolutely delicious and the staff super friendly. and the Breakfast set me up for the day. If you want a friendly clean hotel that really knows what customer service is you cannot go wrong at the Bolingbroke Arms I'm looking forward to my next trip. oh and the free internet was pretty quick and a nice touch . Thanks EamonnRooms: Clean warm and excellent facilitiesFood & drinks: Food is awesome quality and portions

We were attending a rugby match nearby and managed to get a table for 2 at very short notice for Sunday lunch which cost, with soft drinks, around £36.Whilst the food took longer than we'd have liked, it was 100% worth it! I had roast lamb which came with with superb roasties, cauliflower cheese, plenty of vegetables and the gravy was divine. I added a yorkshire pudding for 75p. My teen chose the steak and Stilton pie with chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. Both meals were reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this lovely place. Thank you. (And we made it to the rugby match in time with 2 mins to spare, in case the staff read this! ?)
We were due to head home after a few days staying in Cirencester for Christmas with family and thought we’d make 1 last stop for lunch before we all headed our separate ways. My brother in law found The Bolingbroke and thankfully they had space for 14 at the last minute. The staff were super friendly and very attentive and we had a lovely space in the room at the back of the pub. The food was really good and felt really home cooked, everyone loved their meals. Was a nice end to what had been a great few days already - and just what we needed before a long trip home! Thanks again for having us!Food & drinks: Excellent

Absolutely excellent staff. We came here for my Dads wake, at such an emotional time all the staff were so lovely, kind, caring, attentive and professional. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was very good and so much of it. My husband and I stayed the night in a very clean and modern room, comfortable bed and pillows with crisp white towels. The lady that served us breakfast was also excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent too, lovely produce and very tasty. Overall it was perfect, will definitely return. Thank you Bollingbroke.

Nice pub, plenty of parking and quick service. The food was nice but I think had been kept warm (roast spuds were hard to cut) which is the only reason I didn't give a score of 5. We will try it again in a couple of months, maybe a bit earlier.
