Picked this unknown pub, as another one nearby was fully booked and we were on some family business. The menu was a traditional one. We all thought it was excellent value! We all had the baguettes for lunch, of which there were two each! The chips were just amazing, far too many for us to eat! The garlic mayonnaise was really good. After having a really bad experience at the long arms we decided to pop in here for a drink before heading home. Such a very friendly and warm traditional pub . Will definitely pop back again.

Good value sausage & chips in a basket lunch - 3 fat sausages and plenty of chips for £6, and I recommend the cheese option if you're really hungry (50p). Excellent cheery service from the barmaid.
