Lovely cosy pub, great selection of drinks.Getting a drink took some time as the staff were busy talking to each other or doing admin which clearly, couldn't be paused.One round the bar man didn't speak to me at all.Wine was lovely, alcohol free gin was great. Service disappointing
I can understand why this is an award winning pub. They grow many of their own ingredients on their farm and source from local producers which I always like to hear.They also serve traditional English beers.The pub itself dates back to the 18th century in the heart of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.Edington is seeped in history of King Alfred the Great defeating the Heathen army.There are some lovely walks in the area including the White Horse dedicated to King Alfred.The...read full review

Sunday lunch was packed! So service suffered. Roast beef and cauliflower cheese were overcooked. Roat pork had little flavour and was served with a thick fat edge. Roast potatoes and gravy were good.
