On this occasion, we visited for fish & chips on a Friday night. They were fabulous! Lovely fish, beautifully batteted. Chips cooked to perfection. Really fab!Rooms: Well kept rooms. Reasonable price. We use them when the family comes to stay & we have to make way in our house!Nearby activities: Salisbury Cathedral - an original copy of Magna Carta. We went to eat at this charming pub on a recommendation and we really liked it. The fish and chips were amazing and the staff were very friendly. It also has a pool table. Highly recommended.

Stopped off to see if they had a table for Sunday lunch, very helpful and sorted us a table, we had a lovely roast dinner with one being vegetarian, and a result..bread and butter pudding ?Food & drinks: Excellent food ?
