Pubs in Bewdley
“Had a very enjoyable lunch here with my wife. Food was delicious and presentation excellent. Service impeccable and all for what I consider a reasonable cost. Nothing more to add - will happily recommend.”
“Lovely atmosphere with fine service and ?Food was also fine. I had a lovely sausage roll and my friend the porkpie. Nice quality on those all.”
“Much better with the new landlord as you actually see him behind the bar. It feels more homely. Loving cheese night on a Wednesday!”
“Fab Sunday lunch - my husband and I both had the sirloin of beef and huge yorkie, added cauliflower cheese. Hubby had the homemade apple crumble and custard to follow, also delicious.”
“Lovely Sunday carvery which you choose and are served by staff. There was beef and pork which was well cooked, choice of veg, boiled and roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding and stuffing which was a good price. Good choice of traditional puddings including syrup sponge, crumble, ice cream sundaes, brownie and cheesecake with a choice of cream, custard or ice cream. Quaint old pub, staff friendly. Outdoor seating to front and rear.”
“Felt smarter than the usual pub decour. Several bar areas, a range of real beers. Seating on backed wooden chairs which were comfortable enough. Service prompt and very friendly, efficent staff. Nothing too much trouble.Great location by the river with a few outside tables. Probably best not to have too many drinks given its location !Certainly considerable smarter than the other pubs closer to the bridge.Walkability: Easy to walk to from the car park in the town centre. Not sure if it has its own car park, probably not given its locationFood & drinks: A wide range of food choices, much better than standard pub fare. Quantity of food was acceptable for the price and flavour good.”
“Didnt eat here but very friendly .nice garden oit the back we shall return to try food out .”
“On holiday in Bewdley again 2nd Sept for a week. Always visit this gorgeous little quirky, tavern. Nice alesDidnt get to try the homemade pies but looked delish.”
“I just had a couple of beers HPA - very nice reasonably priced. Jim one of the regulars filled me in on all the locals. If you are looking for a real ale pub for a afternoon out worth a look. They have a different tribute band on Sundays. A big beer garden behind the pub. If you want to spend less than a tenner it is cash only. Pubs like this deserve supporting.Parking: In the summer you can park on the grass behind the pub which is a bit lower down after the main pub car park. If that is full the alternative is the further down still in a paid car park £3”
“It’s on an up hill area , better drive up roadsides parking instead walk. Property outside not look like so old . We visit on Saturday noon , no foods serve ?. so just order 2 ?, ages furniture at few tiny room area , no bad . Garden bar area so so .”
