What a brilliant find! The perfect old country pub - but in the town. Great beer and good friendly welcome. Pool table in a separate area and easy wheelchair access through the sun trap beer garden and ramp access to a comfortable and welcoming lounge. My favourite part of the dog walk through Sanders Park and on to Ye Olde Black Cross for a lunchtime pint. Had a good night New Year's Eve, staff were very pleasant, not a full crowd but for what were there they made it a really good night, the DJ was brilliant. Sorry we had to leave early we had plans, will visit again as they have a DJ every Friday night and karaoke the last of the month. Sorry for the late review just came back off a weeks holiday.
