“We went last weekend to visit The Blue Lagoon and it was a terrific experience! The staff were very friendly and the owner, Mr Islam, was so welcoming and friendly too. We ate the chicken stir fry and beef biriyani and it was excellent and at a reasonable price point. They even treated us to some complimentary coffee and soft drinks! The atmosphere was nice and cosy. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Only popped in for a drink, but the food passing by looked too good to miss. I had faggots, chips & peas, the wife had roast pork with all the trimmings. Both were delicious! The bar staff and the locals were all really friendly and made the experience even better. Every other table was reserved so I’d recommend booking. As a real ale fan I liked the fact that Hook Norton brewery supplied 4 real ales and I plumped for “old hooky” which was as good as ever!”

“Just stayed here for 2nights. On arrival we had been moved rooms, we had an upgrade to the one bedroom apartment with river views. Stunning room, friendly staff, clean and tidy in all areas. We ate on site both nights, slight delay in getting food but well worth the wait. We had full English breakfast too and great breakfast for £10. Well worth a visit.Food & drinks: We had gammon, burger, fish and braised brisket over 2 nights.all superb and bread and butter pudding was to die for. Thank you”
