Travelled 85 miles south to join up with others travelling up from Wales. . When arrived , found out we were booked in restaurant which did not allow dogs. Bar staff went out way to fit our party to sit in bar together so dog was not drinking alone. Food great, beer great, prices excellent& staff attitude spot on. In the area again will pop in for something to eat and drink.
Choose this pub to meet family. Will definitely be going again. What a find. Food for Sunday lunch was fabulous. There ladies serving were very friendly and professional. So well done everyone. See you soon.

We only popped in for drinks on a couple of occasions with our dogs whilst out walking in the area, and found this little gem.Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming to us and our furry friends.Will stop for food next time and can’t wait.
