We came here for a hearty lunch and got the welcome to go with it too. Charming pub, left untouched by modern standards and it was a delight. The lady lady has been here over 30 years and gave us a lot of information about its history of the unusual pub. All her food was home cooked from local ingredients. Excellent, beautifully presented tuna sandwiches & delicious chips + side salad (including red onion, the sign of a good salad ?). £12, including 2 lovely mugs of tea. Exactly what we wanted on a rather grey afternoon. So, for us, it was more like a cafe. A traditional pub with food, as the name suggests 100's of mugs hung from the ceiling. Excellent Sunday lunch & wide selection of other dishes available during the week. Small rear garden., Worth a visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Level access through front door but toilet access for disabled from the rear entrance.
