Myself, Hubby and dog visited this wonderful cafe on a whim, they were pretty booked up but still managed to find us a table. We ordered the crab and prawn sarni and the brie and bacon toastie, both come with salad. Well what can I say......outstanding, a cut above the rest. A hidden gem!Very tasty salads with a wide range of ingredients plus delicious cakes. I had the blackberry bakewell cake, which was lovely and light and tasty. I would recommend Gil's. Service was friendly and efficient as well

Another gem I'm wary to promote. Popped here a couple of times now pre walk or pre pint next door. Such a lovely spot. Very good coffee and food in relaxing surroundings. The service is brilliant and no negatives except parking can sometimes be hit and miss but it is what it is. Recommended ?
