Had mushroom risotto wish was very tasty, but could have been better with a little less salt, others with me had chicken and mushroom pie and mash which both who had it enjoyed, and the other 2 in the party had a vegetarian version of Sunday lunch which they enjoyed.
What a wonderful accidental find. Village pub with function room. Popped in for lunch last Saturday. Staff were welcoming, fire was burning and we were seated quickly. The menu was really varied and different. Worth a look on the website. All the food is home cooked and apparently the pies are the "go for" dish. Can't say as we didn't opt for this for lunch. Great Sunday lunch. Found via OpenTable app. They were extremely accommodating by coning off a parking area for us to access the front of the pub, avoiding steps and complicated routes for our party with some mobility issues. The food was tasty, well presented, lots of it. The broccoli cheese was amazing. Good selection of beers and wines. Very personable, friendly staff, who were all extremely helpful. One to add to our must repeat list. Thank you.
