Have been before ,but this time didn't book and just dropped in by chance on Saturday afternoon for food. Staff very accommodating as I was on crutches- carvery service was excellent (we were the last service)- absolutely huge portion of Meats- thoroughly recommend to anyone ,good mix of age groups - lovely atmosphereParking: Disabled/less mobile spaces available
We have just left The Royal Oak and we're served by the wonderful Elliot. What a fantastic service. He was attentive, professional and just brilliant. The carvery was very tasty and so were the puddings. Highly recommend this place.

Husband booked a Sunday Carvery meal for 3. We arrived and shown to our table. The only criticism I have is that the tables are quite close to one another in straight lines. Not enough room in the aisles for customers to go back and forth with food etc. Husband had to change seats as the customer behind him was touching the back of his chair and no other customer could get through. That said the food and service was great. Desserts were very good ?.
