Really impressed with the bar/restaurant and considering it was the middle of January I couldn’t believe how busy it was, goes to prove how good it is. The staff are really good, very friendly and attentive. Well stocked bar at very reasonable prices and a really well presented menu and specials board. Great evening meal for the 5 of us. Restaurant was very busy with multiple large tables in addition to a function taking place in the main hall. Despite this service was prompt, food glorious and staff all smiling and welcoming! Between us we had the battered halloumi, pie of the day, scampi, hanging chicken and burger followed by the sticky toffee pudding and biscoff cheesecake. All cooked perfectly! We had a most enjoyable meal celebrating a birthday on New Year’s Eve. Most of us enjoyed the Sunday lunch followed by a delicious dessert. The service was attentive and would definitely recommend.
