Only stopped for a drink and a bag of crisps after a walk, but a good selection of beers, etc, as well as non alcoholic drinks to choose from. Nice section of bar snacks and one of the few pubs to offer the opportunity of a filled roll under a glass lid at the bar. Something I've not seen in a pub for a long time. ?We sat in the garden with the dog, super views and plenty of staff passing who cleared empties, etc.Worth mention is a parking charge of £3 for those who wish to park...read full review

Having been a regular to this pub for 10 years now, and seen many changes. The team here are first class. Fun, and friendly, the camaraderie that flows from the landlady and landlord through to the managers staff the customers is something needed in the pub trade. Other people may think I'm biased but that is why it is my regular with locals who are amazingly accommodating. Cannot fault. Camaraderie, no better place for it, owners, staff customers Brilliant I would move near here. I have been going here for last 10 odd years. I have seen many changes good and bad. I can say that the current owners are absolutely outstanding, firm experienced yet could put Basil Faulty to shame.
