Unfortunately (I’m sure you’d agree) we spend more of our time writing bad reviews on here and complaining at the restaurant. Refreshing that this is one of the best reviews I have given. with some who has spent a decade working away and eating at restaurants all over the UK and someone who used to work in hospitality, I regard my self as someone who has very high standards and expectations with quality of food, value of food and customer service. Me and my family came to the Bell last night on a recommendation from a client of mine whose family are local. We are from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The food and service was faultless from not just me but every family member (6 of us). I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a family meal eating out where no one on the table had any issues with food or service. Credit where credit is due. We thanked the staff and the manager for such a good service and told them to thank the chefs for making such good food. One of the best pies I’ve ever had to be honest. Steak ale & mushroom pie, with one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever tried, bisscoff cheesecake. 10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone to come try. Thank you for making our NYE experience a memorable one. Steven & family

We went for a lovely lazy let-someone-else-do-the-work Boxing Day lunch and the whole experience was wonderful. Drinks first in the bar because we chose to wait there until our meal was on the table, and when we went through for our succulent roast beef we were pleased with the busy but not too noisy atmosphere. Rachel looked after us as she always does until we were seated . food was gorgeous. We did this last year and we shall do it again in 2024. Thankyou Kerry and Steve. Linda & Dougie

Lovely pub , food was excellent. Staff very welcoming and extremely helpful. An excellent gluten free menu and they even made a gluten free fish pie especially for one of my group . Couldn’t have been more accommodating. Will definitely be back .

My wife and I spent a lovely long weekend at The Bell. The room was comfortable and clean. However, I must say that the food was very good! We had cooked breakfast each day, which was perfect. We had dinner there on the day we arrived, and finding it really tasty, we returned on other days. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. If we lived closer, The Bell definitely would be one of our preferred places to eat out.

Definitely worth a visit. Popped in for a meal which I had a steak pie. Definitely 5 out of 5 for the pie. Probably the best I have had in a pub. Homemade and rammed full of meat. Had a drink and ended up staying the night. A bit noisy for me but my partner slept all night. Breakfast the following morning was also great. Fresh and hot. Lovely local sausage. Up that way next month and will definitely pop in.

Great location for our family get together. Room very clean and comfortable, breakfast good quality and delicious. We booked 3 rooms and had dinner on the Friday night which again was very tasty. Friendly attentive staff who gave us a warm welcomed after our long journey. We would recommend this pub for both accommodation and food, first class. We will be back for sure.Rooms: Clean and comfortable. Very quiet. The room with a spare camp bed a little tight. Otherwise good value for moneyFood & drinks: Food good quality and well presented. Lamb steak great size for a very good price. Beef burger looked delicious and I was informed tasted gorgeous

Sunday lunch. Very welcoming staff. Service was excellent as was the food. The vegan choice was very good! Able to have the dog with us under the table! Ambience was lovely. Serving staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

What a fantastic night, great staff. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. Great sized potions, nothing wasn’t any problem. Had a table of 12 and the food was brought out all together, all served as ordered. Not one complaint from any of us. Highly, highly recommend. Definitely one we will all come again

We had the Tomahawk steak tonight which was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The blue cheese and port sauce was exceptional as was the sticky toffee pudding to follow. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall an excellent meal.

Menu looks great, however food was tasteless and not cooked well. Ended up having to send it back! Waitress was friendly but not experienced in how to wait at all. Complained to manager, no sorry, just tried telling us that the food was fine! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

A BIG " thank you" to the landlady who organised our fish and chip takeaway when we couldn't come in to eat as it was far too hot to leave our dogs in our campervan (we were invited to bring them in but it wasn't practical) , and to Chef 'Chris' who cooked two lovely, tasty fish and chip meals for us, all wrapped up to keep them warm (I walked from the campsite to collect). Great service and friendly staff and atmosphere. Highly recommended, we'll be back.Nearby activities: Not far from Malvern and the Malvern hills and superb walks.Food & drinks: Very tasty, freshly cooked food at a good price.Noteworthy details: Very helpful and friendly pub who go above and beyond for customers.
