I've been going to the monkey on and off for 52 years. If you want to experience something unique and different, you must go. It's a friendly atmosphere and characters you don't see very often.
Unique place serving authentic dry REAL cider. A lovely lady serves you through a hatch in a thatched cottage. Very reasonably priced at £3.60 a pint too and takeaway available too. Unmissable experience. Lovely garden to drink in. Can't wait to return!

What an amazing place you have to visit the monkey just for the experience me and members of my family have been there many times and the place will never cease to amazes me it's out of the way a great crowd of customers a jolly atmosphere I just wish that I lived closer to the monkey..Ho one more thing the cider is tops
