Went to the sportsman on the way to the rememberance parade with a friend. Never been before and always been a bit weary about going there as it has a reputation of being an old man’s pub. How wrong were we ! We went back with the whole of our group. What a lovely atmosphere! We’re ex service men and the respect we got was unbelievable! We wanted just a normal pub.We got it. Sport in every room a great jukebox reasonable priced beer and to top it off great friendly locals.If in Redditch again I would definitely pop in again.
