Wow what a find! Driven past many a time but was planning on going to the cinema so asked if they could do a early meal. Staff were very friendly and aware of our time schedule. We were amazed at how fantastic the food was and even more so for the price. I'm still thinking now, how the chef cooked my meal as the taste was delicious. I can't believe I haven't been before. We booked the festive menu, which was excellent value, with a good choice on the menu. Cosy, relaxing vibe, with friendly staff. Portions were generous so 2 of our party struggled with 3 courses. Only negative, service was a little slow due to lack of staff, however the staff who were working were friendly and helpful, so overall a great experience. We would recommend.

Stayed at The Peacock Inn for two nights to attend a wedding in the local area. The room was spectacular, it resembled an old Manor House and was complete with beams and a four poster bed. Breakfast was included which was cooked to order, there was plenty to choose from including fresh fruit and cereal.
