Bransford Bridge, Bransford, WorcesterPositioning itself as a mid-range family restaurant, The Fox achieves its objectives extremely well. I have watched the evolution of this place over the last half century - from being a simple Davenports boozer to where it is now - and it has been through many peaks and troughs. Right now they seem to be getting it spot on. The food was excellent - the squid starter could easily pass in a far more expensive restaurant and the sausage and mash main was Gastro Pub food at its best. I was looked after superbly well by Lily and Kate. The place has a decent ambience and the music was unintrusive. I was on my own at lunchtime for this one, but intend to return with my wife and maybe more of the extended family soon. Who ever is Landlord now, long may they remain, because this place is always dependant on those in charge. Thanks to all at The Fox for a splendid lunch! I strongly recommend it.
