Been here several times. Staff really friendly and approachable. Great selection of meals.....the food has always been to a high standard.....lovely atmoshphere........the pub dog is 'oh so cute' and goes to sit with the customers. In cold weather, a lovely fire to keep you warm. Beer garden n family friendly.No it hasn't changed, still as pleasant as evry otha yr we've been. 2023 update, cheers m'dears X N same agen. Xmas '23, luvly warm welcome as usual n pub cozy n warm.Parking: Plenty of parkin n if full on the front try round the bak.

The pub opens at 12 for food & we arrived at 1158, mainly for a toilet break, but we ended up ordering lunch & I am so glad we did! It was excellent! I had seared tuna which was gorgeous & beautifully cooked, & my husband had homemade steak & ale pie which couldn’t have been more stuffed with meat if they tried! We then had crème caramel pud which was lovely, & warm autumn truffle which was exceptional. Wish it was our local! Thank you for a lovely lunch.
