Lovely stay. Room was furnished with all the necessities, clean,comfortable, bedding was good quality & fresh. Attention to detail required, voile curtains ripped. Location fab, staff friendly & helpful. Food was good & very reasonable. My only grumble was the lack of parking.
My wife and I stayed at the Swan Hotel on Wednesday 13th September 2023. The hotel is attractively situated by the river, with plenty of outdoor seating on the river bank. Inside the hotel there is a feast of old wooden beams, many of which have been chalked on by visitors and visiting boat teams. There is a comfortable, friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff. Quite a pleasant place to have a midday meal alongside the River Severn. One downside on a very hot & sunny day was that all the outside tables did not have parasols offering shade so had to eat inside.
