It is alright but we found it disappointing. Nice enough but too big for us, we were surprised at the size. Nice conservatory dining but noisy. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were still finishing our starters when the mains turned up and they stood there and waited for us to finish! We had to tidy the table to make space so they could put the plates down! Never experienced that before! The plates were cold rather than being warmed to help keep the meal warm. Prices are OK but prefer to pay a little more for a smaller restaurant. Our bill had the next table's drinks erroneously added to our bill so we needed to get that changed. There was no rush for us to leave but we didn't stay on for coffees as the pleasure had gone.

Went food Birthday meal on a Sunday 2pm. Was not that busy and was initially served by a young girl. She was then sent for break and had someone else. Starters took a long time to come. We then was served mains by a 3rd person then what looked like management as more staff seamed to disappear. Most tables had slow service. Food was well presented, hot and tasted great. The service....poor, shame to have been served by multiple people and so slow which led us to decide not to rip as unfair to tip when we was served by multiple people abd service was poor. I got up twice one to ask for started then for dessert which we waited 40mins for. I love the travellers rest menu and quality of food but felt let down by the service this time. As a manager myself I feel you need to look at when you are sending staff for breaks and how this impacts their tips and the quality of service. It nice to have the same server throughout your meal for familiarity.

I had a really good experience at Souvlaki Station. The food was fresh, tasty, and authentic – full of flavor and nicely presented. Portions were generous, and everything felt well prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving proper Greek food. I’d be happy to come back again.

Wow We have visited twice in two weeks. We both love it. Good food and good varied choice. My partner does not like spice but with the waitress assistance and advice can find something to suit. The food is lovely, tasty and fresh. The choice is large. The service is superb. \nThe restaurant is small and intimate. We are both 70 and love it. Highly recommended.

Generally, I used to get takeaway from this restaurant, but today I decided to dine in with my family. I ordered a kebab roll and flame-grilled chicken with sides, and I have to say the food quality and portion size were great. Everything looked fresh too. The atmosphere wasn’t overcrowded, and the restaurant was clean, tidy and had pleasant lighting. Thank you for the service and the freshly grilled food. My family and I really enjoyed our dinner

Now ‘Truly Heavenly Taste’Only been running a month so far and thought it would be great to try it.Really friendly staff, we sat outside as it was a nice day and we were able to keep our dogs by the table.We had the tacos, was really impressed, lots of flavour and great taste. All made fresh and I’m told all from fresh ingredients too! We were really impressed.Would recommend.

My favourite thing about the pub was the all the games. We enjoyed those as a family. The staff allowed us to walk in without booking if we waited 45 minutes to order. We were grateful for that and ordered drinks while we waited. Unless there were parts of the pub we couldn’t see though, it wasn’t overly busy so not sure why we needed to wait because they did have the table.

The food was piping hot and the veg was clearly fresh, if a little too al-dente. There was also a good selection to choose from on the menu.

Slightly expensive but not fussed due to quality of food. Friendly staff.
Minor one but high chair does not fit in between table legs so ends up sticking out and felt slightly in the way due to this as was next to a walkway.

I just bought now 2 portions of large cod, 2 portions of small chips, and 3 tartare sos.
Just wanted to say how huge the portions are and the chips is the best ever I have. Not sure if they are frozen but they taste like they just peeled off and cooked on!
Congrats to the owner and to the staff. Keep going. Thank you for the food, me and my husband can’t finish it..I will going to eat around 00:00?? very delicious ?

A lovely local cage that offers hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and cakes and sells their own brand of coffee.
There used to be a wide selection of cakes but when I visited last they just had one on sale and a couple flavours of cookies.
The prices are good when compared to other coffee shops and the service is always great.
They have a toilet on site and it's just across the road from massive park with a play area abd splash park.

What a friendly atmosphere! We ran over there after a wedding at St. George's Church thinking we would have a quick snack before the reception. While they didn't serve food from a kitchen, they had great crisps and good beer. They even had board games and cards for us to play, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Really nice people there. Would definitely go back!

absolutely lovely staff, amazing food all round: steaks were perfect, both chicken and beef burgers were amazing. me and my family came on a Saturday and we had one server the whole time for food and drinks, she had a lovely approach and a good laugh with us, sadly we wasn't given her name. The place is beautiful and slightly tucked away so there is minimal noise from the outside. overall, such a lovely place and a wonderful vibe from the staff, we will definitely be visiting again soon and I recommend this place to other people.
