100 Parkside Dr, Houghton Regis, DunstableIt is alright but we found it disappointing. Nice enough but too big for us, we were surprised at the size. Nice conservatory dining but noisy. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were still finishing our starters when the mains turned up and they stood there and waited for us to finish! We had to tidy the table to make space so they could put the plates down! Never experienced that before! The plates were cold rather than being warmed to help keep the meal warm. Prices are OK but prefer to pay a little more for a smaller restaurant. Our bill had the next table's drinks erroneously added to our bill so we needed to get that changed. There was no rush for us to leave but we didn't stay on for coffees as the pleasure had gone.

Tops Pizza Dunstable
11 Queensway, DunstableAll across it’s amazing, the service, the high quality of halal food all while maintaining a good price. I’m surprised I hadn’t heard of Tops Pizza earlier. Loved the place and I’ll definitely be going back and I’d definitely recommend this to everyone.

Tring Rd, Edlesborough, DunstableWent food Birthday meal on a Sunday 2pm. Was not that busy and was initially served by a young girl. She was then sent for break and had someone else. Starters took a long time to come. We then was served mains by a 3rd person then what looked like management as more staff seamed to disappear. Most tables had slow service. Food was well presented, hot and tasted great. The service....poor, shame to have been served by multiple people and so slow which led us to decide not to rip as unfair to tip when we was served by multiple people abd service was poor. I got up twice one to ask for started then for dessert which we waited 40mins for. I love the travellers rest menu and quality of food but felt let down by the service this time. As a manager myself I feel you need to look at when you are sending staff for breaks and how this impacts their tips and the quality of service. It nice to have the same server throughout your meal for familiarity.

I had a really good experience at Souvlaki Station. The food was fresh, tasty, and authentic – full of flavor and nicely presented. Portions were generous, and everything felt well prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving proper Greek food. I’d be happy to come back again.

31 High St S, DunstableReluctantly came here with my wife as I’m not the biggest fan of Indian food, the staff were amazing as I told them what I liked and they picked out a dish for me I’d never even heard of, it was absolutely amazing, some of the best food I’d ever tasted!\n\nEven tried some of my wife’s lamb naga! Oh boy was it hot but the flavour was just out of this world! \n\nChanged my whole world view, 10/10 will be back!

The place is beautiful and slightly tucked away so there is minimal noise from the outside. overall, such a lovely place and a wonderful vibe from the staff, we will definitely be visiting again soon and I recommend this place to other people.

69-73 High St N, DunstableI was unsure about going to Efes BBQ having seen the reviews but it was for a work do so I went with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing and big portions, enough to take lots home too. It was a Monday night and perhaps not as busy as a weekend but we all had a nice time and staff were friendly and helpful when we asked for a vase to keep flowers good while we were there. No complaints but they should make it clear you'll be having a service charge added to your bill which I don't like. I prefer to tip according to my experience

68 Union St, DunstableJust tried this chinese for the first time after receiving a menu through the door over the weekend. It was by far the best Chinese I have had from anywhere in dunstable.
We went to collect the food and the shop was very clean, everything looked brand new.
The chicken curry and Crispy beef were absolutley delicious. Really big portions too.
Will definetly be back.

Horse & Jockey Table Table
125 Watling St, Kensworth, Caddington, DunstableA wonderfully cozy little restaurant with a wonderful variety of drinks from ciders to cocktails to shots. Unfortunately there was not an awful lot of choice in mocktails, but there was a few choices in ciders from the list.
The food variety is a little limited, only a few burgers and not much pasta variety for the adults. There's a grill section, a pub classic section, burger selection, create your own pizza section as well as a few others and the desert options.
Service was fantastic, the woman who served us was nothing but calm and paitent. Though she did forget to inform us there was no rice for the curries that were ordered but offered to substitute rice for chips, this meant changing the order after picking our food. Food arrived promptly and was quite nice though I did have a little wait for my second drink that I ordered it wasn't a super long time.
Toilets are mostly clean apart from the last stall in the womens bathroom, there's some black stuff on the ceiling (I think a mix of dust and cobwebs) and the lock was a little hard to use but aside from that it was perfectly fine.
Upon payment there was some difficulty using the card machines, the first two tries with the wireless didn't work so we went to pay at the bar. There were issues with the card declining there until we were finally prompted to put a pin in, it was mildly frustrating that this wasn't communicated to us before but not a major issue.
Would come here again, but maybe for a small dinner not for a birthday dinner like tonight was.
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant was very kids friendly, got us a highchair when we first sat down (not that the little one used it much) and was overall very patient when we hadn't all had a chance to look at the menu.

The staff allowed us to walk in without booking if we waited 45 minutes to order. We were grateful for that and ordered drinks while we waited. Unless there were parts of the pub we couldn’t see though, it wasn’t overly busy so not sure why we needed to wait because they did have the table.
The food was piping hot and the veg was clearly fresh, if a little too al-dente. There was also a good selection to choose from on the menu.

There used to be a wide selection of cakes but when I visited last they just had one on sale and a couple flavours of cookies.
The prices are good when compared to other coffee shops and the service is always great.
They have a toilet on site and it's just across the road from massive park with a play area abd splash park.

While they didn't serve food from a kitchen, they had great crisps and good beer. They even had board games and cards for us to play, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Really nice people there. Such a lovely pub! Great staff and always a pleasant atmosphere. Sport on TV, but don't let it put you off. Roaring fire in winter, outside seating in summer. Good ales, ice cold rosè wine and excellent Dirty Burgers! Definitely recommend.

There’s so much choice that it’s impossible to try it all in one sitting! Looks like we’ll be back, Lucky Corner ?
We ordered sweet & sour ‘chicken’ balls, singapore vegetable vermicelli (they happily took out the egg for us!), crispy seaweed, and salt & pepper chips. It was so delicious!
The lady serving us was so friendly and instinctively removed the prawn crackers from our order without our asking, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, with a minimalist atmosphere, but warm and welcoming!
We happened to peek a sign in the restaurant suggesting a new special: vegan vegetable & tofu dumplings, which we are eager to try next time we visit!

Should have been more, but the lady in charge demonstrated excellent customer relations in the challenging conditions, also managing a trainee. It was a Saturday lunchtime, and we weren't the only large party in the restaurant at the time. The place seemed packed, and yet every course was served promptly and perfectly - all the hot the food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. I had the beef bourguignon and could happily have eaten it over and over again - this was the dish that had me wanting to lick the plate. Portions were generous and everybody left feeling full, happy and very well cared for.

The staff allowed us to walk in without booking if we waited 45 minutes to order. We were grateful for that and ordered drinks while we waited. Unless there were parts of the pub we couldn’t see though, it wasn’t overly busy so not sure why we needed to wait because they did have the table.
The food was piping hot and the veg was clearly fresh, if a little too al-dente. There was also a good selection to choose from on the menu.

Harlington Rd, Toddington, DunstableA large and well run garden centre with good choice of plants, household kicknacks etc. But of special mention is the large cafe with both indoor & undercover outdoor seating. A relaxing place for coffee and cake any time.

Minor one but high chair does not fit in between table legs so ends up sticking out and felt slightly in the way due to this as was next to a walkway.

Just wanted to say how huge the portions are and the chips is the best ever I have. Not sure if they are frozen but they taste like they just peeled off and cooked on!

My partner does not like spice but with the waitress assistance and advice can find something to suit. The food is lovely, tasty and fresh. The choice is large. The service is superb. \nThe restaurant is small and intimate. We are both 70 and love it. Highly recommended.

Jacc's Coffee Shop
2, 3 Bullpond Ln., DunstableA lovely local cage that offers hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and cakes and sells their own brand of coffee.
There used to be a wide selection of cakes but when I visited last they just had one on sale and a couple flavours of cookies.
The prices are good when compared to other coffee shops and the service is always great.
They have a toilet on site and it's just across the road from massive park with a play area abd splash park.

Pizza Go Go Dunstable
88 High St N, DunstableI want to say a massive thanks to these guys whom got us out of trouble when our party caterer had an accident on the way to deliver our food and couldn't deliver. Lots of people at the party and no food!
I rang them and within an hour they delivered 12 huge pizzas and 10 boxes of garlic bread to the venue and saved the day!
As always the pizza's are amazing as is the delivery guy and the service. It all went down a treat with no complaints at all.

The Oddfellows Arms
9 Market Square, Toddington, DunstableWhat a friendly atmosphere! We ran over there after a wedding at St. George's Church thinking we would have a quick snack before the reception. While they didn't serve food from a kitchen, they had great crisps and good beer. They even had board games and cards for us to play, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Really nice people there. Would definitely go back!
