We wanted somewhere new to meet as a family and celebrate a relative’s birthday. We had driven past the Farmer’s Boy on a regular basis, but had never been there, so decided to give it a try. We were so pleased we did. What a great experience.The food was really good - it was a Sunday so there were 5 or more options for a roast dinner, but which also could be ordered in different sizes. Enjoyed a lovely lunch time meal, portion sizes were good ,and had to take our cauliflower cheese home in a doggy bag..person waiting on us was lovely and nothing was too much trouble .will recommend .

Amazing, food, staff, service and location!!!! Why oh why after living locally have we not visted this charming place before? Highly recommended. Had the Veg burger and chunky chips - tasty and filling.... Cod also looked amazing!
