Visited recently for a meal with my family (2 adults, 3 kids) Food was Ok for a pub that’s a sports bar. What made the experience excellent was the level of service we received from the FOH staff. Didn’t catch the young ladies names behind the bar but they were so helpful and were fantastic when engaging with my 3 year old daughter. Large Busy pub with lots of screens for sports , including an outdoor seating area with a large screen and parking. Pool, darts and gaming machines inside with plenty of seating. Get there at a reasonable time on Sunday as it gets busy and they do run out of some
A fairly standard pub with a larger menu than might be expected. Lots of offers (burger plus thingy and widget for a tenner every fourth Zumpday in Octember in alternate leap years). Warned that the kitchen was behind and service would be slow, but it wasn’t, to their credit. Food ok, prices very reasonable. But no gluten free options except steak. Everything in breadcrumbs (chicken etc) or with bread/pastry eg lots of pies and burgers. Good alternative to airport hotels nearby.
