Chosen because it was halfway between two parts of our family, for a 75th birthday lunch for my husband, and what a find! The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent, as was the relaxed atmosphere. We never felt rushed, and left feeling we'd had a really great celebration. Thank you!

Went in for some takeaway yesterday and had to wait a lot longer than we were told 45 mins instead of 15, despite there being only one previous order on the go. However the food was delicious, with the exception of the Thai chicken green curry, which was sub-par. A bit expensive for what you get, we thought. Offering a cup of tea while waiting would have improved the experience significantly.

First visit, wonderful food, immaculately clean, very friendly but a few oddities. For example all of the rice options are all the same price (£4.95). Likewise for the main courses (£11.95). Also (I am 99% sure of this) the beer charge on the menu was £4.95 a pint (as I commented on it being good value) but we got charged £5.25 per pint. Having said all this, would I go back? ABSOLUTELY! Even though it is a 30 minute drive for me.

Excellent fish and chips. The cod portion was a good size, and the chips were freshly fried. They cook the fish in small batches to ensure it’s served hot. Just remember to carry cash, as they do not accept card payments.

Costa Coffee Drive Thru

Went there to do some work and have a meeting. Coffee is always good, and the banana cake was great also. The most I was impressed it was the genuine service we received the guys behind actually know what a great customer service it is . The only thing I don't like is the car park in there is limited to 3 hours, and it's not their fault. Usually I work on the computer and meetings can take long and it's frustrating to stay with this stress that's why we left other wise I will spend most of the day there as the staff are really nice.
