We came down for just one night for a birthday treat. The team were lovely and polite. Although busy it was busy for Sunday lunch it was lovely and the beef was cooked brilliantly. The room and breakfast was perfect and the countryside ambiance was a nice break from London. Special thanks to lovely lady in charge who made our stay extra special.
We had a couple of nights plus our dog and were really impressed. Lovely room, excellent food, a very chilled atmosphere and a beautiful location. The only slight negative, and it has been mentioned in other reviews, the staff really need to be more attentive. It was quiet and so it shouldn't be necessary to leave the table to order dessert or a drink. The exception being the lovely young lady taking breakfast orders, she was great!
