Lovely country pub. Good value for a family meal. The Sunday lunch was between a value pub and a gastro pub and the desserts looked and tasted homemade. Good ambience too and competent staff.
Visited Friday night for a drink with friends and to see a band that they had on! When we got to the venue we found out that the band had been cancelled which I found strange we had travelled a fair distance to see the band! Drinks were a reasonable price service was excellent and the Landlady and Landlord were very welcoming! Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and attentive staff. I had the butter chicken curry. Very nice plenty of meat and a good touch of spice. The hubby had the steak pie. Initially thought it looked on the small size but was proved wrong. Packed fully with meat inside a really nice pastry case. We saw other meals coming out and they all looked nice. Our costs also reflect our drinks orders.
