We visited Cote Newbury yesterday to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. I booked Cote on the recommendation of a colleague not having eaten there for a long time or anywhere else in central Newbury, I now have to say it won鈥檛 be so long before visiting again. We decided to go there to celebrate our anniversary & it was brilliant ! A friendly young waiter took us to a table & gave us some menus. I had the lamb followed by chocolate mousse & my better half had the Breton fish stew followed by almond cake with berries & icecream, plus drinks & coffee. I celebrated my 50th birthday party in the private dining area. The service and food were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and Kayleigh our waitress was amazing, thank you!
