We hired the external cabin for an afternoon 40th birthday celebration and were pleasantly surprised at what this great venue offers! Despite not having any closed doors the venue is kept cosy and warm by several electric and gas heaters which really do help to create a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful and promptly replaced the gas cylinder when it ran empty. We ordered pizzas from the menu which were all delicious and went down well with guests. We went in for a drink on a Friday evening before Christmas. It was so busy. Nice bar service. They had a panto outside in a marquee, which wasn’t expected and was a lovely surprise. We paid and watched, it was good fun and not planned. Good atmosphere in the busy pub.

Always busy when I have been there and this was no exception being Sunday. That said, accessing the small bar ensured speedy service. Chose not to go for food but it looked good, just a bit busy.
