Hands down the best roast I've had in the 10 years of living Bristol. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced and beautiful views from the back of pub and garden. Also very dog friendly!!
We came hear on a Friday for a late lunch. Had a lovely table for four by the bifold doors, lovely bit of sun and views . The sausage’s, mash and veg dish was absolutely delicious , my parents had cod chips (hand cut) and said it was the best they had out in this type of gastro pub. And daughter enjoyed her burger (onion rings were late coming out so she docked a point for that!) all in all a really lovely meal and we’ll come back given the prices weren’t too silly. Update 11/23: Prices have shot up in recent years, since it has been taken over by the brewery and Londoners moved into area. Food menu changed- less good. But it's still a fab place for a pint and great views from garden out towards Ashton Court estate.
