An excellent ‘gastropub’, it was our first visit and the staff were friendly, professional & efficient.\nThe starters were an amazing Moroccan scotch egg, the salmon ceviche, the beef rib & the squid, all were excellent .\nMaddie (?) our waitress was helpful with her recommendations and we had one risotto, one steak and two sea trout that were freshly cooked and delicious.\nThe puddings were the lemon drizzle cake, two rice puddings and the best ever sticky toffee pudding!\nDue to a slight delay in serving our starters, the manager kindly offered us a complimentary round of drinks that was appreciated, although the wait didn’t feel unduly long.\nAll in all, a real find by our friends, and we will most certainly return!

Stopped by to pick up a quick sandwich. Queue was outside the door at lunchtime which is always a good sign. Once through the door one of the girls acknowledged I was there and a few minutes later took my order. Ordered a sandwich and a wrap. One hot, one cold. Both really deep filled, fresh tasty meats with salads. Great experience. Support a good local business and stop by here next time you need breakfast, lunch or a fuel stop!

I really like this place. The food is really nice and the portions are quite generous. The staff are always friendly and the food arrives quick. I went in recently and that was the best BLT wrap I’ve eaten. I’ve also had club sandwiches, baguettes and more, and they’re always good. I definitely recommend this place.

Was looking for a different pub/restaurant than our usuals. Although not completely local to us based on reviews and menu available, we decided to go with my wife. While there is parking there was no free space available but managed to find a space not far.
Both of us had a three-course dinner. My wife chosen Chicken liver parfait followed by lamb shank. I have chosen the cheese souffle followed by the Pork tomahawk. Food was well presented and tasty. I personally enjoyed the souffle but the pork tomahawk is the one I liked most. The braeburn apple and the mash were perfect to have a complete, tasty dish. Wife also enjoyed her food, although she was completely full by the end of it.She would not have eaten all of it if she did not really enjoy it
Overall, I give full mark to that nice local pub. Service is good from start to finish with very reasonable prices for the quality of the food on offer. Definitely I will be recommending it to friends and we will be looking to return and try some of the other dishes

We recently visited The Ethorpe Restaurant in Gerrards Cross and had an overall enjoyable experience. The highlight was definitely the food—especially the shepherd’s pie.. It’s a great choice if you're after comforting British classics.\n\nThat said, I did feel the vegetarian options were a bit limited, so a wider selection would be a welcome addition to the menu. Also, while the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at the time, the service was slower and less attentive than expected.\n\nStill, the quality of the food and ambience makes it worth a visit!

First time visiting nomadic dinners and had an amazing time, the foraging experience was fantastic and are forage guid was so knowledgeable and we had alot of fun. The food was incredible ,how they manage to make a mushroom dessert was amazing. However my low rating im sorry to say comes from how little food we had. Half a mushroom and a onion ring is not enough food for the price we paid no matter how dressed up you make it this was also the main dish the show stopper. I dont think its because the chefs dont care as they are super passionate and they are very happy to talk to about the food and ingredients. Which I love all that. I honestly cant tell you why the food is so small. I completely understand that it's a machine star however I have never left a michlin star restrant feeling hungry. For the amount of food you get this is extremely expensive. Please just add a spud or something lol. If you where a meat eater there was deer but very small slices with a tiny mushroom and a onion ring. I'm just stocked it's not fair on your customers to charge so much for so little.

This is a really nice inviting café I went for brunch. The menu is fantastic. A wide range of things to try. It came out in good time and tasted very fresh. They also have a huge selection of cakes. It's not overly bougie. You don't have to dress up to go it's perfect for a casual good well fed brunch. It's a higher priced café, but I guess you get what you pay for

We arrived at the restaurant at around 5.00pm and were seated by the staff promptly. We came here for our very first Jack & Alice Taco Tuesday! They had an exclusive Taco Tuesday menu with options that included a duck taco, a cajun fish taco, a shrimp taco and a bang bang cauliflower taco. We ordered one of each taco and they arrived fast and were at the perfect temperature. We took around 45 mins to enjoy our tacos and then exited the restaurant feeling full and pleased with our meal. Definitely recommend!

Stayed here, drank here and ate here. As a pub and restaurant it is fantastic. The staff are very attentive and the food was delicious. The rooms for staying are ok. The attention to little details would help get this a better rating. Little bits of damage to walls, sills and light fittings on ceiling. The water pressure is none existent making the shower ALMOST unusable. A bit more of a deep clean. But other than that, it served it's purpose and I would stay again

However, I recently bought the quiche and I can honestly say it was the best quiche I have eaten in a very very long time. I have had cravings ever since. You have to be at the airport so long before your flight that most people will have a meal or snack therefore restaurants really have captive audience. So we were pleasantly surprised at the high level of welcome and service we received. The food choice was varied and although i only wanted drink once seeing the menu I decided to have alight snack too. Food was hot and tasty we both enjoyed are meals. There was stead flow of people in and out and tables were quickly cleared and cleaned. Staff were friendly and service was good and we would reuse it if there again. Suitable for all ages and there was vegetarian options available too.
