I'm reviewing on behalf of my Mother and Father in law who aren't online, and who asked that I leave a glowing review for them. They are frequent visitors to Uncle Tom's, and always recieve wonderful service, particularly this past weekend where they thoroughly enjoyed the delicious Sunday roast. We went to Uncle Tom's Cabin to try their Sunday Roast and I have to say, it's one of the best I've ever had. The new chef had prepared some amazing starters, the kids loved their dishes, it's rare for mine to finish their plates but they were completely clean at the end! The roast meats were beautifully and evenly cooked, roast potatoes crispy and a mix of traditional veg and a puree was really nice. We held a family event at Uncle Tom's Cabin. The food was wonderful: tasty, beautifully presented and good value. JP and his staff were friendly and helpful and the open fire and tasteful Christmas decorations made for a wonderful atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely pub.
