Love this place. Great choice of gluten-free dishes and the food is always great tasting. The staff are friendly yet professional. Have never been disappointed. I went on my 70th birthday and the staff brought out a surprise desert with a candle, which was much appreciated.
We popped in for lunch, we were given set menu but told charcuterie board was unavailable . Chose from main menu. Starters took ages to come we chased and was told there was a confusion? Then mains came, I had fish pie was ok but more potatoes than fish. Husband had burger which was Luke warm.. asked for ketchup never came had to chase.. was really annoyed when next table ordered charcuterie and it was miraculously available? Nice location. Tips should be discretionary not automatically added on the bill, it causes embarrassment to the customer to ask for it to be removed and the staff’s attitude changes if you do ask for it to be removed. Giving a tip is a reward for good service, it shouldn’t be the restaurants way to top wages up.
